Casa Luna Balinese Cooking Class with Local Market Tour

The Casa Luna cooking school is a world-famous culinary centre that provides a fascinating insight into Balinese life and culture by learning about its food, cooking, and culinary myths. Classes are part demonstration, part hands-on and are held in the lush grounds of the Second Honeymoon Guesthouse. Participants learn about the exotic herbs and spices used in ceremonial and everyday dishes with a focus on their unique healing properties. A lavish Balinese feast is then prepared together and enjoyed with homemade hibiscus tea. Complete class notes are provided. Guests of the Honeymoon Guesthouses receive a 10% discount on all cooking classes.

Class discussions are relaxed and friendly and are held in the elegant grounds of the second Honeymoon Guesthouse. They include specific references to the role of food in Balinese society, its ceremonial use and religious importance. Participants learn about the exotic herbs and spices used in ceremonial and everyday Balinese dishes and are encouraged to actively help prepare the lavish Balinese feasts that will then be enjoyed with a glass or two of the local rice wine or homemade hibiscus tea.

• 8:00 am: Market tour
• 8:30 am: Cooking class
• 1:00 pm: End of the course

Thursdays:

• 8:00 am: Market tour
• 8:30 am: Cooking class
• 1:00 pm: End of the course

1. Free Pick Up and Drop off only Ubud area
2. Extra 30$ or Rp. 400.000 for return car to Kuta, Legian & Seminyak area
3. Give your preferred cooking menu in booking instructions.
4. Give your complete pickup address and location, your phone number and email id. 
5. You will receive the confirmation of your booking’s availability within 24 hours. Once confirmed, please present your admission voucher at the cooking school.

Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be emailed to you along with booking confirmation via Email.

•  If you cancel at least 3 day(s) in advance of the scheduled activity, there is 30% cancellation fee.
• If you cancel between 24-72 hour(s) in advance of the scheduled activity, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee.
• If you cancel within 24 hour(s) of the scheduled activity, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
• 30% deposit under book and pay later option is non-refundable for all tours and packages.
