The driver will pick up from your hotel. The time of pick up is recommended for the itinerary but can be changed upon your request. The entire tour will take 10+Hours.
We will be driving through Tohpati village(famous for batik, batik is very special art which requires a lot of patience and skill. The word “Batik” means “drawing with wax” and the technique has been thousands of years old). Celuk village (famous for the incredible gold and silver handicrafts which are made by local craftsmen in a very high standard) and Mas village (fundamentally identified as an artistic countryside by focusing in artistic of wood carving.). Make stops if you like to learn about traditional craft making process.
Gunung Kawi consists of 10 candi memorials cut out of the rock face in imitation of actual statues. part of a region nominated for Unesco Heritage status, they stand in awe-inspiring 8m-high sheltered niches cut into the sheer cliff face. Each candi is believed to be a memorial to a member of the 11th-century Balinese royalty.
The temple compound consists of a petirtaan or bathing structure, famous for holy spring water where Balinese Hindus go for ritual purification. Tirta Empul Temple was founded around a large water spring in 962 A.D. during the Warmadewa dynasty (10th-14th centuries). The name of the temple comes from the groundwater source named “Tirta Empul”.
Visit Kintamani Village with the breathtaking view of an active volcano and Lake Batur from the top. Choose one of the restaurants nearby and enjoy your lunch with a beautiful view.
We can stop on the way at one of a coffee plantation where you taste different types of coffee, including famous “Kopi Luwak” made from coffee fruit that has been eaten and passed by the civet cat. After collecting and cleaning the beans, they’re then processed into a gourmet brew that is highly prized among coffee aficionados.
Relax and have a drink in one of the restaurants, while viewing the beautiful rice terraces landscape.The rice terrace is designed very beautifully with exquisite hollowing rice field and precisely located on the hill bank. In this place, you will see the Balinese farmer do their rice field in the oblique area complete with its system irrigation. You will enjoy the beautiful panorama of a valley with rice terrace and coconut tree.
We will be going back through Ubud town and you can extend your tour by staying there for dinner or coffee.
