Climb to the top of Mt Batur (Kintamani Volcano) on a sunrise trek, and enjoy breakfast while you soak up this dramatic landscape in the central mountains of Bali.  Hike with a local Balinese guide who shares knowledge of the region, then enjoy stunning views of the island from the edge of an active volcano. Enjoy a simple breakfast as you watch the sun appear on the horizon. Mount Batur volcano is one of the sacred mountains according to Hindu beliefs. Mount Batur is located in Batur village, Kintamani District, Bali, Indonesia. Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is 1717 m above sea level can be summited by physically fit hikers in around 2 hours. Reward yourself with a bath and massage at the hot springs afterward. The tour is managed by Bali Eco Trekking. 

Your tour begins with your hotel pick up in an air-conditioned vehicle from the Kuta area around 1:30 am or Ubud area around 2:00 am. The journey to Mount Batur will take approximately 2.5 hours from Kuta or 1.5 hours from Ubud.

Upon arrival at the starting point of the trek, your experienced professional trekking guide will give a short introduction and safety procedure briefing. All of the guides are local Balinese, who have been climbing Mount Batur since they were children. They share excellent knowledge and passion for this region of Bali.

• Return at leisure
