Pineh Batur Sunrise Trekking

Climb to the top of Mt Batur (Kintamani Volcano) on a sunrise trek, and enjoy breakfast while you soak up this dramatic landscape in the central mountains of Bali.  Hike with a local Balinese guide who shares knowledge of the region, then enjoy stunning views of the island from the edge of an active volcano. Enjoy a simple breakfast as you watch the sun appear on the horizon. Mount Batur volcano is one of the sacred mountain according to Hindu believe. Mount Batur is located in Batur village, Kintamani District, Bali, Indonesia. Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is 1717 m above sea level can be summited by physically fit hikers in around 2 hours.

Your tour begins with your hotel pick up in an air-conditioned vehicle from the Kuta area around 1:30am or Ubud area around 2:00am. The journey to Mount Batur will take approximately 2.5 hours from Kuta or 1.5 hours from Ubud.

Upon arrival at the starting point of the trek, your experienced professional trekking guide will give a short introduction and safety procedure briefing. All of the guides are local Balinese, who have been climbing Mount Batur since they were children. They share excellent knowledge and passion for this region of Bali. 

ITINERARY VOLCANO BATUR SUNRISE TREKKING:

• 02.00 Hotel pick up drive directly to starting point
• 03.00 For breakfast banana pancake with chocolate and any of the tea or coffee varieties (vanilla coffee, ginseng coffee, black Bali coffee, luwak / civet coffee or lemon tea, ginger tea) available at Pineh Colada Bali, Bali coffee plantation and organic farm (exclusive service available only from Pineh trekking)
• 04.00 Your will be accompanied by a licensed trekking organization guide to assist you with your ascent of around 2 hours from bottom to peak
• 05.00 There will be short stop for resting and drinking supplied water
• 06.00 On arrival at the peak of Mt. Batur you will be served with a packed breakfast and egg cooked in the volcano steam while you wait for the sunrise
• 09.00 After the climb you will be taken back to “Pineh Colada Bali coffee plantation and organic farm” for free banana fritter and any of the tea and coffee varieties along with fresh fruit picked at organic farm
• 10.00 Drive back to the hotel
