At the immigration counter you will get what we call an Visa Exemption Stamp. There are no costs involved. You will have to leave Indonesia within 30 days! How to transport in Bali? Can we rent a bike or car? What will be the cost?

It is easy to get around Bali as the transportation service is really good and well connected. The main options are to hire a car, hire a car and drive, take a taxi or use a shuttle bus. There are also some public bus equivalents (called Bemos). However, they mostly do not suit tourist’s needs. You can hire your own car to drive around easily and cheaply if you are a confident driver.

In the hindsight, it does not cost much more to hire a driver as well. As for taxis, in the main beach areas there are no shortage of them. The Bluebird taxis are the cheapest, so look out for them. Always ask for the driver to use their meteras it will be better value than bargaining for a price with someone else, and lesser hassles as well. There are also shuttle buses (usually vans) that will take you between the main tourist areas.
